Our Great Staff

Darlene is an Administrative Assistant who has 2 children named Lauren and Chance.  She enjoys reading, shopping, traveling and spending time with family and friends.  She enjoys working at Great Beginnings because of the family atmosphere our practice offers. 

Michelle is ourTreatment Care Coordinator.  She has three children, Christian, Dakota and Patrick.  She enjoys yoga, working out, cooking and traveling.  She loves seeing the children everyday at work and having a happy work environment. 

Sharon – Sharon is one of our Financial Coordinators and has been with us for over 11 years.  She lives with  her beautiful  daughter, Miranda, and two dogs, Fergie and Roxy.  Miranda is a busy teenager and plays high school soccer.  Sharon loves being a mom , watching Miranda play soccer, being with friends and family, and her favorite place to visit is the beach.  

Holly  – Holly is an Administrative Assistant in our practice. She is married to her husband Doug and has three children, Austin, Madison and DJ. She enjoys cooking, especially making candy over the holidays as well as scrapbooking and spending time with her friends.

Susan  – Susan is our Practice Manager and has been with us for over 25 years. She lives in Fletcher with her husband, Trigger, and her daughter Zoe.  She enjoys the sun and fun at the beach, time spent with Zoe and Harley riding with her husband.

Lydia  – Lydia is our Financial Coordinator. She recently moved to Asheville after living in England and Florida. Lydia enjoys spending time with Steve, hiking, enjoys art, traveling, shopping and watching movies. She has two cats named Nemo and Luna.

Julie  – Julie is our Correspondence Coordinator in our Asheville office. She lives in Black Mountain with her  two boys, Alex and Avery. When they are not on the ball fields she enjoys going to the gym, hiking and spending time with family and friends.

Nikki - Nikki is an Administrative Assistant. She was born in Winston-Salem, NC and recently moved from Florida to their home in Asheville, NC. She has been married 13 years to her amazing husband, Robi. They have three children, two girls, Aubrey and Taylor and a son Audun. In her free time she enjoys listening to music, hiking and cooking.

Sheila  – Sheila has been with us for over 10 years and has a background in banking. She has a passion for homeless needy animals. She lives in Arden on a horse farm with her husband, Leon, and lots of animals to love and cuddle. Sheila loves to plant flowers, ride Harleys and go to the beach as much as possible.

Donna  – Donna is our Front Desk Coordinator for our Waynesville office. She resides in Waynesville and enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially her nieces and nephews. She loves baking, sports and going to the beach.

Terry  – Terry  is our Patient Care Coordinator and has been with our office for over 14 years. She is married to Dr. Kelvin Moseley, and they have a blended family of three girls and two boys. They are proud "Papa and Mimi"  to four "fabulous grandgirls". Terry and Kelvin are members of Biltmore Baptist Church and the teachers of their Connect Group, "Living Single Again." They are both members of the Exalt Ministry Choir and Kelvin is the Pastor for Celebrate Recovery. Kelvin and Terry enjoy spending their time together with their dog "Mr. Big". Terry enjoys traveling, shopping and loving life.

Darlene - Darlene is an Administrative Assistant in our Waynesville office. She lives in Leicester with her husband, Rob and dog Abby. Her daughter Whitney attends Western Carolina University. Darlene enjoys reading and spending time at the beach and Lake Keowee.

Amanda – Amanda is our Office Administrative Assistant and Financial Coordinator for our Waynesville office. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and dog, Big Chief.

Patty - Patty is our Administrative Assistant in our office. She and her husband Wes have three wonderful children, Wes Jr., Josh and Morgan, and three terrific grandchildren, Shelby, Regan and Colson. She enjoys gardening, playing the piano, cooking, beach trips and spending time with family and friends.

Lisa Anne – Lisa Anne is ourHospital Coordinator.  She enjoys spending time with her daughter, Briannah, who is currently a student at Appalachian State University. In her free time, Lisa Anne enjoys interior decorating and going to the beach.

Christy – Christy is our Insurance Coordinator. She has been married to her husband, Fred, since 1998.  She has two awesome step-children, Fred and Meredith.  She loves spending time with family and friends.

Lynn  – Lynn is a Dental Hygienist and has been with us for over 20 years. She lives in Candler with her husband, Mark, and son, Blake. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.  She loves being a mom!

Cindy - Cindy is a Dental Hygienist. She is married to her husband, Ronnie and they have two children, Zeb who is 16 years old and Zane who is 13. Their children are very active in sports so they spend large amounts of time at games. They love football and Cindy's husband, Ronnie, coach's football at Enka High School and both boys play. Outside of sport, Cindy is on a clogging team and enjoys dancing.

Carla  – Carla is a Dental Hygienist and has been practicing for over 13 years. Carla lives in the Waynesville area with her husband, Rodney, daughter, Avery and new son, Kayden. Carla enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends.

Lynne  – Lynne is a Dental Hygienist. She lives in Arden with daughter, Georgia Belle, and a black lab named "Miss Boone."

Renee  – Renee has been a Dental Hygienist in our practice for over 15 years. She has been married for over 30 years to her husband, Jim. Their daughter, Lesley, is a graduate of Salem College and is married to Bradley. Their son, Spencer, is a graduate of Reynolds High School and currently attends Appalachian State University. Renee enjoys gardening and reading in her spare time.

Jalinda  – Jalinda is a Dental Hygienist who was a former patient of our practice before becoming employed with us.  She and her husband, Alan, and two children, Emori and Mattox, live in Canton. Jalinda enjoys the lake, horseback riding, friends and family.

Crystal is a Dental Assistant from Candler, who is married to her husband Josh and they have a son named Colson.  They enjoy her dog, spending time with family and traveling to see new places.  She enjoys working with children and describes our office as "friendly and wonderful". 

Katie – Katie is a Certified Dental Assistant. She is from Haywood County and lives in the beautiful Panther Creek Community. She has been married to Alan since 2000. They have a beautiful daughter, Avery, and their other “daughter” is Ginger, a malti-poo.

Donna  – Donna is a Chairside Assistant with over 20 years of experience. She lives in Hendersonville with her husband, Jerry, and her cat, Maui. Donna enjoys gardening, camping, fishing, photography and her family and friends. She is very avtive with the youth group at her church.

Kim  – Kim has enjoyed over 20 years at Dr. Chamber's office as a Dental Assistant. She lives in Candler with her husband, Mike, and their two children, Matt and Katie. Matt and Katie both attend Western Carolina University. Kim enjoys spending time with friends and traveling in her spare time.

Marsha – Marsha lives in Canton with her husband, Chris, and their two children, Cord and Collin. In her spare time, Marsha enjoys spending time with family, going out with friends and cooking.

Haley - Haley is a Sterilization Tech for our practice. She lives with her husband, Jason, and  children, Miceala and Landon, in Candler. She enjoys camping, shopping and activities with her church.

Tracy – Tracy has been with our office for over 10 years. She lives in Fletcher with her husband, Shawn, and daughter, Taylor. She enjoys watching Taylor play basketball and collecting antique ornaments. Tracy has a cat, Cassie, and three dogs, Sam, Sasha and Sadie.

Shauna  – Shauna is a graduate of the AB Tech Dental Assisting program. She resides in Leicester with her husband, two dogs and cats. She enjoys camping, reading, movies, hiking and friends and family. Shauna would like to one day visit Italy again.

Jessie – Jessie is a graduate of the AB Tech Dental Assisting program and is a Dental Assistant in our practice. She lives in Asheville with her husband Rodney and twin girls, Kalyn and Kamryn.

Candice  – Candice is a Dental Assistant, as well as a former patient, with us. She and her husband, John, live in Weaverville with their sons, Jaxon and Max, and cat, Couchy. She enjoys riding 4-wheelers, fishing, kayaking, time with family and friends and being a mom.

Lisa – Lisa is a Chairside Assistant and a Certified Dental Assistant who has been with our office for over 20 years. She lives in Asheville with her husband, Ronnie, and their little puppy, Kacy Jo. They also have two cats, Jasmine and Ariel. Lisa enjoys going to the beach, shopping, spending time with her family and collecting antique cookie jars.

Darla – Darla is a graduate from Western Piedmont Community College and is a Dental Assistant. She lives in Marion with her husband, Bradley, her two sons, Jace and Knox. Darla loves swimming, shopping and spending time with her family and friends.

Teresa - Teresa is a Dental Assistant who lives in Waynesville. She is married to her husband Nathan, and they have three children, Jordan, Jayla and Caleb. She loves spending time with her family and friends from church and going to the lake.

Jennifer  – Jennifer is one of our Dental Assistants.  She lives with her husband, Kevin, and their son, Kyle. She loves going to her son's ball games, reading and walking. She is a huge Duke Blue Devils fan.

April - April began working with Great Beginnings in August of 2008 and she loves it. She was recently married in October 2008 to her boyfriend of 10 years, Steven. She is a certified Dental Assistant as well as a licensed Dental Hygienist. She graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at AB Tech in 2008. She and Steven do not have any children, but they have a toy poodle, Angel....who they love dearly.

Libby - Libby began working with our office in the fall of 2009 as a Dental Assistant.  She moved here from Greensboro, NC.  She enjoys kayaking, crafts-especially sewing, teaching jazzercize and spending time with friends and family

Melissa is a Sterization Tech who has three chilren, one boy and two girls.  She enjoys trips to the beach and lake and spending time with her family.  She loves working with children and enjoys the interaction with her co-workers.

Samantha Hensley – Samantha is one of our Sterilization Assistants. She lives in Old Fort with her husband and two dogs, Elton and Dolly.  She enjoys being with her family and friends, watching football and wrestling, going to the beach, camping and cooking. She attends Old Fort FreeWill Baptist Church.

Kristie - Kristie is our Sterilization Tech. She has two children, Casey and Hailey. She attends Starnes Cove Baptist Church and is active with the children's department. She enjoys living life to the fullest!
